Where did The Potty Song come from?

Rich Bennett, Teacher, Father of Five and Originator of The Potty Song tells of its development this way…

" When our oldest child was ready to potty train, my wife read an article that basically encouraged us to go crazy in celebration when our daughter used the potty. Out of those celebrations The Potty Song was born. After Grace would use the potty we would run to the piano and I would play and sing the song while she danced and sang along. To add consistency for the times I was away, I recorded the song on our computer. From then on it was amazing! After using the potty she would run to the computer, click the icon for the song and celebrate with her mom by singing and dancing. Incidentally, the fact that the song was customized with her name was big and she got a bit jealous when she would hear, ‘Sam went potty... Sam went potty...’ as her younger brother started training.”
